This vintage Talsint from early 70's is a master piece of abstract art. It has the checkered pattern that is originated from the exact Talsint village in Moroccan rug history. Talsint is a village in today's Morocco that has been there in the Atlas mountains since the Stone Age. It is crazy that they discovered this kind of art without any influence from outside world so early on. Maybe that is the key for the inspiration. No formalities, no obstacles, no commercial use, just total freedom of mind and space to create something for their own family. They could mix any colours and patterns according to personal desire. Like the patterns, colours are self made also from flowers, mushrooms, plants, roots and such.
